Poppy is for remembrance,
Something you’ll never forget!
Ellen must mean temperance –
A virtue you’ll never regret.

Poppies can show many shades
But this one’s the brightest of all
Her birth gave us glimpses of sunshine

As the leaves began to fall.

Poppy must also mean “lucky”
With parents like Katy and Matt
We knew Katy’d be really plucky –
She’s always shown us that.

Be happy you three, together,
Good Luck will follow, we’re sure,
We know you can manage bad weather
And we wish you the best ever more.

What a week! Wedding and friends on Saturday in Marylebone & Maida Vale, testing out her off-road pram in Epping Forest on Sunday, walking on Chingford Plains on Monday, officially registered on Tuesday, health visitors, midwifes and visiting friends all week long. Walking in the forest again and then a trip to Great Grandma on Friday. Her cards stretch around 3/4 of the living room.
She's feeding well, is putting on weight again and is awake more often... and trying out her lungs.
